West Nile is fast becoming a tourist destination in East Africa, offering visitors a myriad of exploration and relaxation sites.
ADJUMANI. The leaders of Adjumani district have appealed to the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to consider completing Eraji Bridge which they said has stalled for over six years.
ZOMBO. The Alur kingdom and Zombo district leadership have snubbed plans by the Office of the Prime Minister and the UNHCR to relocate the DRC refugees from Zombo district to an already existing settlement camp.
MARACHA. Security meeting between Uganda and Congolese Authorities boosts cross-border trade between the two countries.
KOBOKO. Residents of Koboko district have urged the government of Uganda to consider screening people across the border with Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to avert possible spread of Ebola virus into the Country.

ARUA. The Prime minister of Lugbara cultural institution ( Lugbara Kari) has appealed to the government to unlock Arua district saying her people are culturally tested and have options of response to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
ZOMBO. As the country continues to register more COVID-19 positive cases among especially truck drivers from neighbouring Kenya and Tanzania, the ministry of health has taken a deliberate move to boost services at screening points along the border entry points.
ZOMBO. Security agencies have attributed the recent attack on a Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) detach in Zombo district to a new rebel outfit.
ZOMBO. Over 10,000 Congolese of Alur tribal group are stuck in Lendu forest at the Uganda-Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) border in Akaa Sub County and part of Zeu Sub County after they were denied entry by the Ugandan security agencies.
NEBBI. Leaders in West Nile have been urged to prioritize land issues if the rampant land conflicts are to be minimized.
PAKWACH. The Pakwach resident district commissioner (RDC) has suspended security operations along the Panyimur- Dei catchment areas on Lake Albert and the Albert Nile as campaigns for 2021 general elections resume.

KOBOKO. Located about 15 kilometers East of Koboko Town in Lobule Sub County, Koboko district, Lobule refugee camp is one of the settlement camps hosting Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) refugees in Uganda.
